2023 Wrap
Catalyze is wrapping up a busy and successful 2023 this week and heading off for some well-deserved family time from Friday 15 December!
In 2023 our team grew to include an amazing support crew for Penny and Cindy, with Preanka, Danteya and Kiara joining us. We also added Communications Consultant, Mandy, to manage our brand communications and provide PR support for us and our amazing clients.
Our team travelled the world attending 19 events in 9 countries! We supported 17 industries, sending 323 exporters overseas, Hosting 261 Buyers in Africa, and choreographing 2,342 B2B Matchmaking Meetings! We also managed some impressive Custom Programs, including our AGOA program, the Cape Trade Portal and Engage Trade Africa.
While working hard, we also try to explore the incredible places we get to see! This year’s highlights included celebrating Penny’s wedding in Durban, riding camels to visit the Pyramids, seeing the Sphinx and cruising the River Nile in Egypt while at IATF, visiting Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and New York Little Island Floating Gardens while in NYC for Summer Fancy Foods, a Boat Cruise around Dubai Harbour, hanging out with the Penguins at Boulders Beach in Cape Town while at Africa Games Week, being tourists in our own cities on the Red Bus, up Table Mountain and seeing the best Wine Farms when hosting delegations.
We cannot wait to see what 2024 holds! We are back in office from 8 January 2024!
