OWNER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
Rex has been developing companies into world markets since 2002. He developed international trade fairs in many different countries, from Angola to Kazakhstan, at the largest exhibition organiser in Russia, the CIS and Turkey, ITE Group Plc for 8 years. Returning to South Africa in 2012, Rex poured his in-depth international knowledge and experience into launching Catalyze, which continues to grow from strength to strength 11 years later.

Amanda is a people’s person and likes to work with emerging talent to develop techniques and give them the ability to reach their potential. Working with our team gives me great inspiration and I love seeing the individuals grow and constantly stepping out of their comfort zones to achieve amazing success.
EVENT PROJECT MANAGER
Cindy has been with Catalyze since 2017. Starting as an Event Coordinator for 30+ Catalyze pavilions at international events. Cindy took over as Project Lead Manager for Catalyze’s USAID portfolio in 2022 and oversees the ENGAGE TRADE AFRICA platform that develops African Businesses into South Africa and U.S. markets, and the Prosper Africa AGOA/GSP Eligibility and Trade LogisticsCustomer Service Support program, that provides consistent support to business between Africa and the U.S.
INTERNATIONAL EVENTS & MEETINGS MANAGER
Penny joined Catalyze in 2016, her role was developing new industries covering sectors such as medical devices, global business services, oil and gas and technology. Now an expert in key industry markets, she has recently taken over as International Events & Meetings Manager, managing Catalyze’s invaluable database of high impact companies.
BRAND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Mandy is a Communications and PR specialist with 13 years experience. Her passion is for brand building in all its forms. Mandy began working with Catalyze when developing the Africa Games Week communications in 2021. She joined Catalyze in February 2023 and is responsible for all brand communications, as well as providing PR and communications support for Catalyze clients where needed.
