Over the years, Catalyze has established Africa Games Week as the premium business event in Africa for the video game industry, with video game developers, content creators and industry leaders coming from across Africa and the globe to connect with and grow the African gaming Industry.

Africa Games Week has grown year on year, with multiple sub-conferences across industry verticals, a variety of specialised speakers and panels from across Africa and the world, and smaller technical workshops, with one-on-one meetings and networking events scheduled throughout.

One of the most successful elements of the Africa Games Week event remains the Business Matchmaking program put together and managed by the specialist Catalyze team.

This program has seen endless connections and partnerships formed over the years and December 2022 was no different. The Catalyze team manages B2B Matchmaking from the ground up, from connecting the right people to facilitating and managing the itinerary on the ground at the event. December saw 1,760 B2B meetings hosted between people from 550 companies! The success stories from those meetings continue to come from those that attended.
